It’s nearly going to be a month of work. Can I not talk about today? I’m not sick and tired. Just that work was fine and after work gym was fine too. Just that after gym my day just started becoming worse and worse when I thought that things for me will be better. Probably next time I’ll talk more ok? I’m really in a bad bad bad mood. Bascily, FUCKED UP MOOD! Sorry readers. Thank you noel for your comment. Really appreciate it. I didn’t know that there is people reading my blog.

It’s my twenty thrid day at work in the kitchen. Second day in the local swez. Let’s see how did this day went. Went in work at 0700hours.

I started off my day by cutting banana leaves into a oval and round shape following the plate size. That itself took me roughly around more then an hour. I think I cut more then enough for tomorrow. Tomorrow I doubt I’ll need to cut banana leaves because today I really cut damn alot.

After that I started doing mise-en-place for tomorrow because today and tomorrow will be busy. Basicly this whole week will be very busy because the Lembaga Peperiksaan will be coming to have their meeting for the exam and exam papers I think. Today roughy around three hundred plus paxs. The whole week lunch the figure should be around there also. The mise-en-place basicly I did was cutting vegetables such as cucumber, chilli, chilli padi, carrots and others I can’t really remember. After that I went for a short break by my own.

After I came back I continued doing some cutting for what to be honest I myself don’t know. Hehe. I’m quite a useless guy because I can follow instrustions but for what I’m doing it I don’t know. They are all busy so I also don’t want to bother them by asking useless questions which might just get them angry.

I went break at about 1130hours. By 1215hours I came back and cut long beans, went to the store to get items and also not forgetting get market stock. I went down three times just for that and to wait for the stupid lift takes ages so by the time I knew it, it was already 1500hours so I told Chef Lim who is the head for local swez that I’m going off and he let me off.

I came home at about 1545hours and slept until 1710hours and went gym to meet Jimmy. Came home at about 2100hours to eat because before that went to the bike shop to tighten some stuff of the bike. Well, that is how my day went. Everyday my day is going to be like that. *sighz* Honestly, I cannot wait to go back college and study or should I say ‘STUDY’. Collegemates are all friend and can talk about anything as well as joke about anything at all. It feels so at home to be in college eventhough I hate studying. But trust me all my classmates will agree with me that college life is way better then working life. For me yes but think about it, it is maybe because we are not getting paid a single cent for our labour. If we are earning and working then I can say it’s a whole different feeling because at the end of the month you will get a cheque for your hard work. *haihz*

It’s my twenty second day at work in the kitchen and sadly my request to stay in western banquet was rejected because of the SORI NAIK LORI idiot.

Nevermind today I’m placed in the local swez which is a kitchen that does the buffet as well as ala carte so basicly sometimes can be really busy and sometimes can be really relaxing. The malay girl is very friendly when I didn’t really liked her before this but getting to know her she is a nice person because she talks to you as well and teach you how to do things and if you ask he questions, she won’t scold you or anything but just teach you how to do.

I started of my day by pealing eggs and cutting them into four slices and stack them of. This is for the buffet later. Mostly I do all the cutting and chopping but I don’t really mind because I feel that I do like cutting and choping insted of cooking. Probably because cooking you’ve to really estimate how much of seasoning and all those nonsense to put it or else the dish is screwed up. I spend most of the day cutting and chopping and not forgetting, sharpenning my knife. It’s really sharp already. Cut myself so many times till there is a deep cut that has no blood coming out but can the skin can spred apart. About an inch deep.

That is all for today. Nothing much actually. Hehe. Oh ya I’m hoping that someone will buy my bike over also. *wink*

Twenty first day at work and no doubt but a really bring day at work. Nothing to say because since I entered work at 1200hours I was at the buffet stall all the way till 1700hours that is five hours.

After that cleared all the stuff and the pastry order wasn’t done at all so I did some before going for break for forty five minutes and came back at about 1930hours.

I had a good heart to stay back all the way till 2100hours first time but I can tell you that this won’t happen too often. The only bad thing happened was that I cannot stay in the western banquet because that stupid SORI NAIK LORI asshole didn’t allow and my chef was on leave so no one was there to defend and fight back for me. Probably when he comes back from his leave I’ll try talking to him.

2nd February 2007,

It’s my twentieth day at work. It’s a friday and I started work at 0700hours.

Let’s see. I started off my day with doing up the pastry order straight away and before noon I gave them their items already. It is very fast indeed. Hehe. Well, I’ve got nothing to do so ya I made myself busy. Basicly I don’t really learn much just that to be more careful while handling knife whether sharp or not because one slice on your flesh it’ll make a wound.

Went for lunch but didn’t really eat because the food is very boring already in the staff cafeteria. Came back from lunch I handled the buffet until 1430hours then by 1500hours I’m gone.

Didn’t go gym today but went subang till about 1800hours. *wink* Spend sometime and chilled and then came back. Can’t really remember much but I know that I didn’t do much at work for the past few days and don’t have any stories to tell already.

Today is my nineteenth day of work in the kitchen. Still in the western banquet and I do hope that I’ll be able to stay here because I like the place and people. They are really a bunch of friendly and willing to teach people. Four malay’s and one chinese guy. Four out of five of them are young (around 20-27) and surprisingly they are really willing to teach young people unlike the old one’s in the kitchen. The other is about 30+ and he doesn’t bully any trainee’s. He is also very nice and is really willing to teach you how to do things.

Started my day by cutting garnishing then helped out with the preparation for the buffet already. After that took the pastry kitchen’s order because they order form us to do some chopping and some grilling so that they can make bread. It’s more like the bakery’s order but the both kitchen is in one.

I basicly spend my whole day doing the bakery’s order because I needed to find alot of vegetables from the whole kitchen because my own kitchen ran out of stock and had to steal from other kitchens quitely. I went for lunch at about 1115hours and was told to come back in an hours time.

Came back at about 1215hours and went to the store to collect some market stuff which is all the vegetables for the main banquet which is shared among the western and malay banquet. I needed to load and unload because I went down three times. Two times was for the market stock and the last one was store stuff. The trolley has three shelf’s and I needed to go down three times. That shows how much of stuff I had to push and load and unload. This was because the next day is a public holiday due to taipusam and federal territory so KL and PJ holiday and the supplier is closed to had to supply for two days stock. Chinese New Year will be worse. One week the supplier will be closed!

Well, after doing the pusing, loading and unloading stuff I’m back to chopping stuff for the bakers. I spend about two hours chopping vegetables and cooking the stuffing for the mushroom and chicken pie and by 1500hours I’m off work.

Didn’t go gym today but when and did my bike. Did the signal light and washed my darling and polished her to take picture the next day. Need to picture for posting because I’m selling my bike. Anyone interested? Hehe. It’s in good condition. Fastest I went was 205KMH. Well, after that went yam cha with my dad and another biker and then I went off to join my friends at another mamak.

At about 0100hours+ we went subang to play pool and was waiting for a friend to come join us but at about 0300hours a phone call came and he met with an accident. We straight away off the table and flew straight to where he was. After everything was settled we went to a mamak and sat there to watch the match and relax till 0600hours+ and I came home and slept striaght. Well, that is all for now.

It’s my eighteenth day of work today. I’m in the western banquet. Started off by doing garnishing at 0700hours.

After that did some cutting because pastry kitchen order’s items everyday. Then helped do some cooking for the kitchen and was giving lunch break at about 1130hours. 1215hours I came back and was located outside at the buffet place to take care of the roasted lamb leg. I think I’m getting the skill of slicing lamb already. Very cool and nice because not everyone can slice nicely and well. I’m almost there but need more time to learn the full skill of course.

Buffet ended at 1430hours as usual. By the time I cleared everything it was 1445hours and one chef from my department told me that I can go because all the chef’s having briefing so I left and was lepaking outside. Then Jimmy came to lepak also and he told me a story.

The story was about the chef SORI NAIK LORI asshole. I so hate him already. They were smoking there and Jimmy was there to lepak during the buffet time if I’m not wrong because he didn’t tell me the exact time it happened. The CDP chef from my kitchen defended me. I didn’t do anything wrong don’t worry. The SORI NAIK LORI said something about that I wanted to stay in western banquet and he added that trainees should move around if not better don’t come training. Then my CDP chef backfired and asked why can’t I stay there when the other girl from taylors could stay in one kitchen department for her whole kitchen training. The SORI NAIK LORI had nothing else to say already. That is what happens when you pilih kasih. Just because she is a girl and I’m a guy so I do not get any face when I ask for something and that girl get’s what she asked for. And by the way shes a nice girl. Very friendly because I’m chinese and she doesn’t quite like some the malay chef’s there especially the one’s with the tall tall hat. One of them is the SORI NAIK LORI asshole. I really hate him damn alot.

After that same as yesterday I went to one utama to wait for Jimmy for gym. Having a gym buddy is very usefull for body building because you get to increase the weights that you’re currently doing because you’ve got support. I had quite a good gym day after hearing the fucking SORI NAIK LORI asshole talk about me.

I’m going to bath then sleep. Working at 0700hours again. Good night and sweet dreams. Sorry that I didn’t update the blog for the past few days but at last I updated everything. Feel so relifed. =)

It’s my seventeenth day at work today. I’m back in the western banquet because I requested and it was approved. Entered work at 0700hours. Good because don’t have to fight with my sister for the bathroom but have to get up very early sadly.

But today one chef by the name of SORI called me to talk to me. He is kind of big because he has a title in the kitchen. But what the fuck la his name. SORI. Haha. SORI SORI, NAIK LORI LA. Hehe. What a name. Parents must have not enought intelligance and named him after a word that many people use. Anyway back to the story, he was lecturing me about changing kitchen and all that. I honestly cannot remember what he was barking because I shut down at stuff that I do not want to listen to. Short story is that he said no matter where I go I’ll be under him because he is incharge of at least two kitchens there so he said, ‘Where every you go you’ll still come back to me so that means that I can move you anywhere I want’. Damn fucking lanci. He better hope that I do not find him on the road outside the hotel. I’m able to make him not enter the kitchen anymore. I’ll just break a few bones of his because his firstly quite old already and he looks like a drug addict because he is damn skinny no joke. He better not test my patience or else better not let me catch him outside the hotel.

Anyway I like this kitchen alot I don’t know why. I just feel most at home compared to the other kitchen’s I’ve been to. Even Jimmy said so that western banquet kitchen is the best so far and will be. I took care of some carving which was named chicken wellington. You won’t be able to guess the pax of the day for lunch. 19 fucking pax’s only. Haha. Basicly only one slice was giving away. What a joke.

After buffet at 1430hours I peel onion’s until 1500hours then went one utama to wait for Jimmy for gym.

It’s the sixteenth day of my work. I started work at 1200hours till 2000hours. Basicly the whole day went not too bad because I was outside taking care of the pesembur stall. It’s Saturday so the buffet for lunch was from 1200hours till 1700hours then break for a while and at 1830hours it starts again till 2230hours if I’m not wrong.

Firstly was after work I changed to get ready to go home already then I realised that I left something at my stall in the buffet place. So I just ran up and told the supervisor there that I’m there just to get something back. Fine. BUT!

I also realised that my bike keys were missing because usually it is hanging on my pants because I do not take it off. When I put on my pants I realised that so I took my stuff and ran to my bike after checking out. Thankfully that I saw my bike was still there. I was so damn relifed. Next was my keys weren’t anywhere to be found at all and that is the worst part. I looked everywhere and finally I decided to look at my dash bord where the meters are. There was a note saying something like ‘Brother, kunci tertinggal kat motor. Saya letak kat helmet’. So I staright look at my helmet and found the keys there. I was like FUCK. THAT WAS FUCKING LUCKY. First time in my life I found someone malay that is so kind and nice. Sorry but I think most people will agree with me.

I hope I can find that malay guy so that I can really thank him. In the afternoon when I went to work I parked at a place where can park four bikes only and when I arrived at work there was already one bike so I reverse park so that means if the next bike that comes and park next to me will be able to see the key slot for my seat because I have to open the seat to lock the helmet in there. So happened at that night I saw the same bike parked next to me and two other bikes on the other side. I’m guessing that the guys directly next to me on my left was the one who wrote that note. I took a picture of his kap chai and number plate. Anyone else I bet would have at least the thought of making some money by stealing my keys and asking for ransome right? Or steal my bike one shot because not to say that my bike is that small compared to the guy with the kap chai next to me. I really want to thank him. That is all for this day. =)

Fifteenth day of work. I’m updating this few blogs a little late because was tired and at the same time wasn’t that free. Hehe. This day I was still in the malay kitchen.

As far as I can remember, nothing much happened. Normal washing inserts and doing the mise-en-place. Ya there is an aunty that is a chef in the malay kitchen also. It’s my second day working with her because she was off and at the same time she took leave. This lady is damn irritating and at the same time she is nice.

She’s irritating because when you’re doing something halfway and you’re busy she’ll just suddenly call you to help her. And this help is stupid because she basicly can do it herself just that she is damn lazy to do it herself. She’ll ask you to go to the store and get some items. I got that already. She even asked me to wash one blady insert for he because she wants to use it. Like she herself cannot wash herself if its urgent. I was doing my mise-en-place and it was already 1100hours and she still wants me to help her. Goodness! Im trying so hard to finish up all my tasks because it was very little but because of this lady, everything that I’m supposed to finish is all delayed. No joke. She’ll basicly ask you to do something for her when you’re busy doing something and rushing for time. She’ll help you alot by delaying your time and your task will take a very long time to finsih it up.

The good thing about her is she is caring. Caring as in she’ll make nescafe for all the malay kitchen staff. She’ll also have the heart to at least ask. Have you eaten? Are you thirsty? But besides that, she’s damn irritating.

I can’t really remember what actually happened on this day. Quite long ago and I’m trying to remember what happened for the rest of the days until today so that i can at least type something for each blog. Hehe.
